DR. MEGAN MEYER – MD
Dr. Meyer grew up in Bozeman, MT where she learned to love the outdoors, and discovered her interest in medicine through a Wilderness First Responder course as a teenager.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Montana State University, during which she volunteered with the Big Sky Ski Patrol as an EMT, taught skiing for kids with disabilities, and worked as a whitewater kayak instructor for teenagers.
Dr. Meyer attended medical school at the University of Washington through the Montana WWAMI program. On clinical rotations, she quickly realized her passion for taking care of kids and their families. She completed her pediatric residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital as part of the AK track, which allowed her to complete a full calendar year of clinical rotations split between Fairbanks and Anchorage, AK. It was during her time in Alaska that she fell in love with the community and the surrounding area and decided to make the move north after completing residency.
Dr. Meyer enjoys working with children and adolescents of all ages, though she has particular interest in newborn care and early childhood development. She is most looking forward to developing long-term relationships with patients and their families over time.
In her free time, Dr. Meyer enjoys kayaking, hiking, skiing, reading books, and baking.
