LUCAS HEPLER

LUCAS HEPLER, DO

Dr. Lucas Hepler was raised in Anchorage, Alaska, where he developed his love for all Alaska has to offer. He completed his undergraduate education at Colorado State University before earning his medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington. During medical school, he spent two years completing clinical rotations throughout Alaska, an experience that deepened his dedication to caring for children in the community where he was raised. He then completed his pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Hepler knew early in his medical training that pediatrics was his calling. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages, with particular interest in the care of newborns and infants, sports medicine, and building lasting relationships with the families he serves.

During his education, he met his wife, Ashley, who also calls Alaska home. They are delighted to have settled back in Alaska. Outside of work, they can be found fishing, camping, skiing, hiking, or guiding their blind dog, Riley, on some of Anchorage’s tamer trails.
