CHRYSTAL COLEMAN – CPNP-PC, APRN
Chrystal grew up in a military family and first fell in love with Alaska while living here during high school. Fast forward several years (and states) later, and she is excited to, once again, call Alaska home!
In 2015 she earned her nursing degree and spent most of her RN career working in pediatric emergency-trauma medicine. After five years as a bedside nurse, she returned to school and obtained her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care degree from the University of South Florida.
Chrystal enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and families and believes in providing individualized, evidence-based care that supports children as they grow and develop. She has professional interests in adolescent medicine, nutrition, physical activity and exercise, and helping children and teens develop healthy, sustainable lifestyle habits. She also values patient and family education and strives to give young people the knowledge and confidence to become active participants in their own healthcare.
She is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child, adolescent, and family feels respected, supported, and welcome.
Outside of work, Chrystal enjoys spending time with family, rediscovering Alaska, gardening, cooking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
