CHRYSTAL COLEMAN

Chrystal grew up in a military family and was fortunate to live in Alaska during high school.  Fast forward several years (and states) later, and she is excited to finally call Alaska home!

In 2015 she graduated with her nursing degree and spent most of her RN career working in pediatric emergency-trauma medicine. After five years of bedside nursing, she returned to school and obtained her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care degree from the University of South Florida.

Chrystal uses the pronouns she/her/hers. She enjoys connecting with patients and families, discussing their healthcare goals, and creating personalized, culturally relevant, evidence-based care to help them achieve healthy, sustainable outcomes. She believes all pediatric patients and their families should receive high-quality care, regardless of race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. She is interested in patient-family education, nutrition, and developmental medicine.

During her spare time, Chrystal enjoys being with her family (both near and far), rediscovering Alaska, gardening, all things culinary, good stories, and traveling.
